This weekend a new set was released on Magic online. The set is called Lorwyn and the theme is based upon..... well I don't know.. I'll check what the designers have to say:

"Lorwyn draws inspiration from the folklore and mythology of the British Isles. You'll find influences from Irish, English, Welsh, Scottish, and Celtic stories, languages and cultures in both the look and world details of the setting."

I am following the progress of some solar powered cars driving through far away Australia right now. A friend of a friend of mine is actually part of one of the teams. (Solar Team Twente) From my old University. They are not really contenders , but it's the first time they participate. Getting to the finish will be more important for them than winning anything. Another Dutch University team, from Delft has won all the previous years since 2001 or so, so a lot is expected from them.

On my old server the follwing situtations is causing quite a fuzz:

You need your own Arena team (3vs3) no 2vs2 or 5vs5

You pay us 1000g each for every week, and 30g on top of that for every match we win.

for example if we play 1 week in your team and we play 35 matches winning 29, you pay 3000+ 29*30= 3870g

In wow I need something to work towards.... and when I reach it, I fall into a void.

I had good fun collection the money for epic mount. Now I have one and I don't collect money anymore.

I was busy getting exalted with Aldor to get the epic sword.. Now I have it and I don't use a sword build... (instead I bought a 1600g Dagger)

The Black Temple.. Tanitha are you sure? looks more like the White Temple to me.. (I like the layout)

Guess what, those folks over at Incgamers must have thought ' We'll show them what a Back Temple looks like...... '

How did I do?

Sorry that I didn't get back ont his before after getting so exicted about it two weeks ago and so many people replying with their own magic experience. I have been away for the last week visiting a lot of people I hadn;t seen in a long time. (but that had nothing to do with the cards)

Anyway, how did I do?

A week or so ago I went to the simpsons movie.. I had a really good time.

Did I mention before that one never stops being a card junkie?

Next Friday Ill be playing in the Dutch National Magic the Gathering Championships. For the 12th time. I have been qualified for every one since 1994, playing in every one except 2005 and 2006 because I was in Tuscany , Italy both years and Tuscany is >>>>>>>>>>>>> everything else.. Oh if I ever could affort a house there...... <3

Since a few years I really love this golden nectar. Maybe it's because I read 'Kuifje' as a child (a belgian comic from Hergé , Tintin for the english speaking world. one of the hero's Captain Haddock always drinks Loch Lomond)
Maybe it's because my ancestors are from Scotland...
Maybe it's just because the stuff is just very good.
