Yes, not the first to do this but I really wanted to say what awesome fun this achievement was.

Grinding the bruisers in booty bay at 80 was pretty easy (2-3 hours), and always picked up someone to do it with and chat with as you go along - a boomkin last night who made it super duper easy.

Getting the title, achievement and buccaneers outfit - awesome, Jingster and Hunger did this together and it was probably the most fun we'd had (in-game :P) in a long time.

Since cataclysm is coming and a lot of old world raids will become feats of strength, I figured it was time to go mess around in a few of them.

Jingster (ret pally) and Hunger (unholy DK tank spec) ripped through Zul Gurub yesterday. The goal was reputation and bijou / coins, and also pristine black diamonds (one or two per run, apparently). Also a hankering for the tiger mount.

So - I now have 'Epic' (item in every slot ilvl 213 or >).

Time played? 1day 11hours 11minutes!

I now have 2 x ilvl 219 maces - so going to try some dual wield death knight tanking!

So watcha get? Computer geek stuff onlies :P. Don't want to hear about the socks :)

Well, we got an in-game mail purportedly from Blizzard. Liz thought it was spam... and checked out the website anyway... which never loaded.

When she tried to log on this morning, it kept asking her for her 'authenticator' key - which we don't have.

So, on I log and there is Jingster in Sholazar. A few choice words and I ring blizzard support. They now have a 1800 number for Ozzie customers, yay, so 45m on the phone queue (ran an instance with phone on loudspeaker :P) and blizz reset her password and removed the authenticator from the account - nearly forgot to do that...

My Death Knight (Hunger) has hit 80 and he's a tank. 9h and 43m of /played at level 80 and i went to Violet Hold as tank. Heroic. Blitzed it. I love it :)

I'd earnt 20 or so badges doing daily randoms before 80, so 2 pieces of ilvl 232 tier gear a few hours later. Crafted ilvl 245 bracers and a helm that I made.... 27k unbuffed health, 550+ def and 41% dodge+parry with HoW

Before lich king came out we just messed around, and i started a small casual guild called 'flying south for summer' a little play on words with 'northrend'.

One day while levelling fishing in darnassus on Quilla the draenei sexy chick tank, i was amused by the guild spam so put up one of my own.....

Gwart's comment made me roflcopter though :)

Just got my new PC today (accountant said so!!!).

Colleague at work has a wholesaler account - so i managed to get all my bits pretty cheaply.

So, i7-920, 6Gb triple-channel 2000Mhz ram, 128Gb SSD and 3 x 1Tb for a Raid 5 setup.

I haven't bothered setting up the raid yet (got a choice of on-board raid or a p400 raid controller), haven't got past the beauty of a solid state drive. Win 7 took 20Gb, so I have 100Gb left for my apps (ummmm games)

Time to give my view on Aion, level 23 Assassin. Fluffys.

Aion is pretty good fun - the character models are awesome, and I have to say Fluffy is a total sex-kitten. Head to the link and you can see the 3D view. Java isn't playing nice right now, so no nice screenie for you.

As an assassin... lots of the attacks are chains, dual wield is good and the animations are very nice to watch.

The world is awesome, and having wings after level 10 is really cool - once you get the hang of it.
