So I've been browsing Wowhead's Wotlk site and I must say, part of me is looking forward to the next xpac.
I haven't really spent enough time to go through everything in depth, but a few changes have caught my eye. I still haven't decided whether I'm leveling my priest, druid or rogue first; they all seem to be getting some interesting changes.
Priest changes include Spell pushback protection in shadowform (talented), fade removing movement impairing effects while in shadowform (talented) and psychic scream having a terror component (talented)
WARNING: Much rambling ahead.
TLDR Version: So many women, so little time.
So as of an hour and a half ago, I had absolutely no plans for my Friday evening. As entertaining as WoW can be, I had really hoped to do something different for a change. I guess that saying "be careful what you wish for" holds some bit of wisdom.
Less than two hours later, I am now pacing back and forth trying to figure out how to fit it all in (that's what she said.) The last hour or so has been a flurry of texts and phone calls, and now officially have plans for tonight. Several of them.
So I was owned by game mechanics last night. I'm leveling a rogue with my roommate's druid and we were both at level 49. We planned to do some pvp before hitting 50 just to get a headstart on the honor grind.
Due to some miscalculations I was sitting at 3 experience until level 50 (Not three PERCENT, three EXPERIENCE.) This meant that I couldn't complete any more quests, kill any mobs, or explore any new areas. I figured I'd be fine, as I had already flown back and forth between UC and Hinterlands (where I currently was leveling) so I began the flight back to check the AH.
Partially thanks to mine and Stigg's shared love affair with "That's what she said," I've developed quite the eye (ear?) for appropriate usages. While there have been some great ones in the past, I think I may have topped them all last week.
If only this was as simplified IRL as it is in WoW... Why can't I just go out and hit some rocks for a while and then go to my friendly neighborhood auction house and make some dough? What, you mean I can't just do something over and over and eventually be an expert at it? I don't remember having to pay college tuitions to level professions. Ten gold for master skill level? What a bargain! I wonder how much law school would be in Wow gold equivalent.
