There we go. Apologies for that, but he slipped through by filling something sensible into the "Registration Validation" question. First one and got nuked ... hopefully quickly enough that none of you were too badly scarred.

The thrill and the fear

The EVE General Discussion forums, despite it's quotient of trolls and madmen, was fairly accurate in predicting the outcome of the events surrounding Fanfest. It has died down to nothing. And in a way, that disappoints me a bit in myself, I've put it behind me as well after what seemed like a near constant barrage of good arguments for both camps. Now? Well ...

Guild Wars 2: A review linker

I found this one on Kill Ten Rats; it pretty much agreed with my opinion on it. The comments are well worth reading as well. I'd be keen to see what you guys have found.

The Secret World

Pre-orders are now open. And you can buy a Lifetime subscription as well. This is going to be an expensive month - Guild Wars 2 CE, Secret World CE , 1 year subscription on Age of Conan and 6 PLEX. Damn.

EVE: Wish it was the lottery

A while ago I won a contest for a PLEX. Something to do with PvP, Russians and pornography. I'd give you details but that may just be too much information. This time round though one of my characters was recognised in the EVE Portraits competition. I did not manage to snag the Bhaalgorn as a first prize, but picking up a Pirate Faction Cruiser is a nice bonus for second place!

EVE: Exploit notification

It has come to our attention that players have been avoiding retaliation from CONCORD after committing criminal activities in high security space. We would like to remind you of the following information from Customer Support:

‘If you gain a Global Criminal Countdown by committing an illegal action in high security space, it is considered an exploit to attack a target after you warp away from the grid, or warp within the same grid, where you gained that GCC; even if you later return to that grid while still affected by that GCC.

It is a violation of game policy to avoid retaliation from CONCORD and players who are found using this exploit will have action taken by Game Masters on their accounts. A fix for this exploit, including proper patch notes, will be released as soon as possible.
