Hordes of minions and Dragon Balls!

I've been fooling around with Guild Wars quite a lot over the past week or so, both playing a little with old and established characters and trying out new combinations. I've paid particular attention to Mika Taleni (Necromancer / Mesmer - Profecies) and Dario Navarre (Elemental / Monk - Factions).

Darios's fairly fun to fool around with, and it feels like he's leveling about three times faster than I remember it taking. He's currently as level 8. But I've fooled more with Mika.

This Is Aperture

If you think the song sounds familiar it's because it is. It's the "This is Halloween" song from The Nightmare Before Christmas, one of my favourite animated films. ^_^
Here's the original (fastforward to 0:45 to skip the intro):

Mika Taleni

It's one of my characters in Guild Wars.
Not really interresting to you I guess, but here's the reason I write this:

For some weird reason I decided to install GW again today. Some passing madness made me want to see what changes the game has been through since I last played it 3-4 years ago. Install was simple enough, but they had included a new security measure that had me stumped: Name one of your characters...

How to best deal with bears

Can't really explain why, but this really tickled my funny-bone. ^_^

Trains, glue and paint

I just created a huuuuuge post over at "My Trashy Stuff" that I want to share with you, but I'm too lazy to attach all the images here as well, so I'll just link you to it and add a couple of images here to get your imagination piqued.

Super Dungeon Explore

Ready for a litte nerd-gasm?

I've always liked boardgames, and I've had a soft spot for dungeon crawlers for as long as I can remember. This started when I first got my hand on HeroQuest. I eventually advanced through Advanced HeroQuest, Dungeon Quest, and a few years back, Decent: Journeys into the Dark. I guess it's the RPG-ishness of it all with one player pitted against the heroes that does it for me.

A few days ago I heard about a new game called Super Dungeon Explore. It's yet another dungeon crawler with one player sending hordes of monsters against the players, but in a way inspired by the old-school japanese RPGs we both love and hate, like the original Zelda, Gauntlet or the Final Fantasy games.

Drawing with Apples...

I was utterly mindblown by this drawing. Not only because it is utterly gorgeous and fun to wach in and of itself, but also because it's made on a friggin' iPad!

This video deserve you putting on some relaxing tunes while watching in fullscreen...
