Applesauce
----------
7 green apples
1 dl sugar
½ dl water
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Peel the apples and cut them into inch-wide pieces. Put them in a kettle along with the water, sugar and the cinnamon. Boil until the apples are tender and soft, then let them cool off. Mash the apples together into a chunky paste.
Crumbs
------
3,5 dl crumbled rusk, coockie or bread crumbs
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Melt the butter in a frying pan. Add the crumbled rusk and stir well. Add the sugar and cinnamon and stir until the crumbs look golden. Take off the stove and let it cool off.
Cream
-----
3 dl dairycream
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
Whip until you get a full, airy cream.
Tips:
* The apples can easily be exchanged with pears.
* Roast a few chopped-up nuts and mix it together with the crumbs.

That looks yum and easy to make. I'm trying that this weekend.
Apple pie, but much more posh! Thanks for sharing Tal.
Sounds good! :)
Om Nom Nom Nom.
Say, Tal, the pic you put up reminds me of that image from your friend's blog...uh, the November 7th entry. Is this the recipe for that? (The Cake - scroll down to November 7.)
Yes, its the same dish. It is a traditional Norwegian dessert. They also make it in Denmark, but then often with sour-cream, pears and nuts.
awesome, thanks for putting up the recipe (i really liked the picture on your friend's blog, it looked ridiculously good - had a sad face though since she hadn't included a recipe).
Glad to help :)
