What is the desired +Haste rating for a Restoration Shaman? I am usually doing the following things:
1. Keeping the tank up with Earth Shield and Lesser Healing Wave. Riptide if I need a buffer while my heals cast.
2. Doing raid wide heals with Chain Heal
3. Topping up the off-tank with either Riptide or Lesser Healing Wave
Those are broad strokes, obviously different situations require different items. In my current unbuffed state I have:
1. 2549 +healing
2. 29.8% crit chance (I am gemming my new pants with 2 x +20 crit rating gems, so this will change)
3. 707 haste rating
4. 455 / 367 mana regen
5. 19178 hitpoints
6. 23976 manapoints
I think my Haste Rating is about where it needs to be as my Lesser Healing Waves are at 1.06 seconds to cast. My crit is a bit low, I think. I want to boost that to around 35% or higher. And I think my Spellpower is a bit too low as well, I need to up that, but for that I need the right weapon drop. (Battered Hilt farming?)
When healing I feel as if my heals are powerful enough, but I'm a bit worried about how long it takes to cast them. Should I be trying to get my Healing Wave to the GCD?
Either way - do you think I need to be looking at more Haste? More Crit? More Spellpower? All of the above?

Sunday I was called in to the guild's ICC raid again for the 5-9 bosses. We killed two dogs. Then we killed two ugly things called Festergut and Rotface. I think. All I remember was dodging around slime, running clockwise with oozelings and dashing out to the wall every once in a while. In the end, I think it went well. The bosses died and we only wiped like four times which, considering for most of us it was a first time, was not too bad.

This is a general healing question, so maybe you guys can help me here. Late last night I was unable to sleep and thought I'd pop in, check auctions then go have a long soak in a hot bath with some wine to try and knock myself out. Didn't happen, because I was asked to join a ToC 10 man. Which, to be honest, went utterly terribad.

Being alone and with yesterday being my day with the children, I had preciously little to do today. So apart from running instances with my baby warrior until my arms were sore from tapping the keys, I managed to pick up Leggings of Dubious Charms and got very lucky with a drop of Mudslide Boots. This means I have now managed to push my Gear Score to 4994. Then, around 4pm, I saw a guild advertise for new players without achievements wanting to get into Icecrown Citadel. I was all over that like cat fur on a sofa.

Greetings!
I come to you with a request. Here is the background of my request.
Nefi and I are starting a guild in the mighty world of WARCRAFT, and I am here to recieve insite from fellow MMORPG players.
The guild is called "Operation Arathi Freedom" and right now, Nefi is doing a kickin' job putting together the website. I have lead guilds before, all of which on Kalecgos-US, they were "Dark Angels" which was consumed by "Execution" and Takai's cookie eatin' arse, /yuck. I was also the leader of "Bana Ka Purey" which fell apart after I left over a year ago.

Do you get anything more pathetic than a level 80 Night Elf Rogue on a PvE server thrashing quest givers and then spitting on people? He must be hardcore. Either that or 12. And yeah, I suppose you do get something more pathetic. He could have picked Tarren Mill or the Crossroads like others of his Alliance counterparts. Must be small wowcock syndrome because they can never get Wintergrasp.

I was sitting there with one person left to roll and me rolling 97, am I not so damn close to winning my Mammoth? The answer? NO!

Bear for the win? He has 60K health when buffed. I hope he stays logged out in Feral spec.

I logged in last night and tried an instance run on my Shaman. The tank was one of those Death Knights. Under the defense cap, running a heroic and needing a constant stream of Healing Waves, Earthshields and Riptides just to stay on his feet. But hey, I'm game to try anything. After three wipes, I called it and closed World of Warcraft. Wait a few minutes for them to kick the Offline player and then log in again. Yes, it is a sneaky evil way around the 30 minute wait for leaving the instance. This time I tried my Tanking Paladin. Found a Stockades group, said hello, buffed the group and topped up mana again. Asked if everybody was ready, got the go signal and ran into the first room, followed closely by the hunter. Grabbed the room and started tanking. And tanking. And health dropping. And dropping. And lay on hands. And a quick /p "Priest!?!?" and ... well. The priest was AFK. Mook. Dead. And a 2s repair bill. Yeah, I know. Isn't it great how at lower levels your repair bill is neglibile when at level 80 a mob farts in your direction and there goes your Epic Flying skill savings?
