Non-WoW

She said WHAT?

Partially thanks to mine and Stigg's shared love affair with "That's what she said," I've developed quite the eye (ear?) for appropriate usages. While there have been some great ones in the past, I think I may have topped them all last week.

Choosing & leveling a primary profession .... IRL

If only this was as simplified IRL as it is in WoW... Why can't I just go out and hit some rocks for a while and then go to my friendly neighborhood auction house and make some dough? What, you mean I can't just do something over and over and eventually be an expert at it? I don't remember having to pay college tuitions to level professions. Ten gold for master skill level? What a bargain! I wonder how much law school would be in Wow gold equivalent.

Define "Good Guild"

What with the recent talk, here, of guilds and what-not - I'd thought it over some and was wondering what, to you lot, are the key components to a "good guild".

Granted, as will happen, whenever a moderate number of people gather there is bound to be some kind of drama (whether it's Mickey Mouse - trivial, or "ginormous" - if that term isn't self-explanatory by now...but i digress). Those moments aside, for they are far too many to number in possibility - what things in a guild make a game more enjoyable to you. (It doesn't have to be WoW related.)

England sends invasion to Amsterdam

"... floating toward the beach from the direction of England"

This is hideous. For all of you living in England, I hope you feel a little less patriotic after reading this.

Poor old amsterdam. I hope NATO steps in to put corrective action on yall.

Speak my language or GTFO

One of the things I really love about this forum is the vast geographical differences between us. It allows for a wide view on topics, kind of like the whole, "I envy you for living in Europe because of the History" -vs- "I envy you for living in America because you actually have non-500 year old planned communities."

Moving to Nap-town

Well, for the past year (14 months to be exact) I have been living within about 4 minutes from work. It has been nice, but it forces me to live about an hour and half away from my fiance, which has not been fun. Only getting to see her over the weekends, and very very rarely for more than 36 hours at a time. So, I will be moving up her way, and commuting down to my work.
